After 65 wonderful years at 4200 Buckeye Road, Monona Grove Nursery School has embarked on an exciting new chapter! We are delighted to share that our school has moved just down the street to 4019 Hegg Ave, adjacent to Lake Edge Lutheran Church.
Our new home has been thoughtfully redesigned, and we love it! Our partners in this journey, Threshold Builds, were amazing in helping us think of every aspect of our new space. Below are some of the highlights that we just love!
Staying in the Same Neighborhood – For our kiddos who already know and love MGNS, they may already know the route! Whether walking or riding, they will be familiar with the route to school.
Ample Outdoor Space – More outdoor space! We loved our little side yard/playground at 4200, but our new space has a beautiful outdoor space for our kiddos to run, jump, climb, and play! Thank you to our partners at Heartwood Tree Service for all of their donations to our playground space.
Natural Light in the Classrooms – Windows, windows, windows… Let the natural light shine in!
Large Parking Lot – Unless there is a HUGE event at MGNS, no more parking on the side streets!
Toddler Time Room & Dedicated Bathroom – For our youngest at MGNS, we have an all new Toddler Time room with its very own dedicated bathroom complete with a changing station.
New Cubby Room – New spacious cubby room for all our kiddos’ gear! Click here for preview of the new cubby room.
Secured Entrances – Along with all the fun, we’ll have security to go along with it.
